Before entering real estate, I spent over two decades as a social science researcher, faculty member, and higher‑education administrator at prestigious universities. I have since founded a boutique higher ed consulting collective.

That background shapes how I work today: I’m a thorough learner, a clear communicator, and someone who loves helping people navigate unfamiliar territory - whether that’s a new city or the home‑buying process.

When I decided to learn about real estate investing several years ago, I turned a carefully researched modest investment into a 275% realized return - nearly four times what I paid - in just six months. That profit helped me purchase my family’s first home, which we improved and refinanced into six‑figure equity gain a couple months later.

Since then, I’ve expanded my portfolio and have first‑hand experience with residential and multifamily purchases, commercial and mixed‑use properties, 1031 exchanges, down‑payment assistance programs, own‑your‑own vs. condos, non‑QM financing, house hacking, BRRR, and flip‑to‑self strategies. It turned out my academic training - data analysis, public‑records research, policy review, and trend assessment - were powerful tools for making smart, well‑timed real estate decisions.

Today, I bring those skills to helping buyers secure the right property in Long Beach and nearby communities.
